MY SOLUTION
In order to counter this problem, I came up with an effective solution. Although I will not be able to prevent the increase in number of cars, I can make the process of finding slots much easier for the car drivers. I will be creating an application that contains all the necessary information that will make it more convenient for car drivers whenever they are sourcing for parking lots and also easily search for the information of the parking fees of the different carparks.

​Problem Statement
With the increase in people who own cars, it becomes a common problem for most drivers which is being unable to find a parking slot to park their cars. It then results in the drivers having to wait a long time just to get a parking slot. There are times where car drivers want to compare the parking fees between different carparks but is either unable to do so or the process of searching through google will be too inconvenient for them. Another problem that car drivers face is also having no knowledge of the number of slots available in each level if they are parking in a shopping mall.
With this common problem among many car drivers, I decided to work on a solution to make car drivers have a better and more convenient experience when finding parking slots. Although I am unable to increase the number of parking slots for cars, I am able to make it easier for drivers to find a nearby parking slot and also being able to access the details of the parking fees of the different carparks.
